EMSL is seeking a Part Time Summer Laboratory Intern in its Materials Science department in Cinnaminson, NJ. The role assists the laboratory with both administrative and sample preparation tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform sample preparation per instructions from Analysts (filtrations, moisture, ash, sieving, PLM mounts, TEM mounts) according to SOPs
Prepare report templates for analysts
Discard old samples
Ship samples back to clients
Assist with sieving of dust samples
Data entry to set up and enter sample batch into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent
Some basic laboratory experience is a plus
Must be a team player
Must be concise and organized, able to take instruction
Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
Must be able to accurately identify, interpret and arrange number sequences
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize assignments
Must be able to stand and sit for various lengths of time

Available Shift:
Part Time- 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is a season position, starting in End of May/Early June and ending in mid to late August. The pay rate for this position is $15.92 per hour.
