Overview

The Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is actively seeking a creative Director to creatively execute and design projects in areas of print, social media and web direction provided by the Director of Marketing and Communications and or Marketing Associate. the Creative Director will distribute all designs to the Director for proofing and collaborate with the Director on larger projects to ensure design, print and digital expectations are met. The Creative Director will also work with print vendors on projects of a smaller scale to acquire cost estimates, send jobs to print, set up jobs for mailing services if needed and request appropriate deadlines to deliver final materials that meet client’s expectations. The Creative Director must be able to manage assigned projects in the Asana project management system and address challenges, missing information and questions related to creative with the Director.

Education and Experience

• Four-year university degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in an in-house marketing, advertising, or graphic design department. Work in a non-profit organization a plus. Ability to work under tight deadlines, collaborate, take direction, and juggle several tasks at once. Must be able to create a project from conception and bring it to completion. This includes working with outside departments, and vendors outside of the organization.
• Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Asana or project management system equivalent, Microsoft Office 365, print pre-press, digital output, Canva, vendor relations, some Word Press experience and video production (After Effects, Premiere Pro) a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
