Overview
Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently hiring a full time Domestic Abuse & Outreach . The Domestic Abuse & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for providing direct services, to Jewish survivors of domestic violence and non DV clients, while also expanding the agency’s community presence through outreach, education, and partnership development. This dual-role position strengthens the agency’s response to domestic violence by blending trauma-informed support along with social emotional learning to an array of our community partners.

Required Education & Experience

• Must have an MSW and 3-5 years working in the field
• At least 2 years experience working with survivors of Domestic Abuse.
• · Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and policy and procedure manuals
• Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees/clients of the organization
• Must possess strong alphabetical and chronological skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
• Must be comfortable with public speaking to both small and large audiences

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
