Overview
Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently hiring a Building Janitor who will be responsible to perform building janitorial and maintenance functions including, but not limited to, setting up and breaking down of rooms, moving tables, chairs and other equipment. The building Janitor will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dust the furniture and shelves, ensuring that the center is always clean , sanitary and organized.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience of basic facility maintenance/housekeeping experience
• Operate cleaning equipment with knowledge of various cleaning products
• Current Driver’s License to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Florida
• Ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely fashion
• Shows commitment to quality and working in a team environment
• Demonstrates professionalism at all times using discretion and kind approach
• Flexibility/adaptability to change related to work
• Willingness to learn new things
• Ability to carry loads of up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
