Pressman Academy in Los Angeles is seeking a passionate and experienced Judaic Studies educator to join our warm, collaborative community for the 2026-2027 school year!The Role: Teach Core Subjects: Lead instruction in Torah, Parashat HaShavua, Rabbinics, Hagim, Israel, T’fillah, and ritual. Engaging Instruction: Plan and deliver lesson plans that facilitate active learning and utilize technology as a teaching and communication tool. Differentiated Learning: Design curriculum progressions that meet the needs of diverse learners through modifications, accommodations, and enrichment. Collaborative Environment: Participate in department meetings and invest in meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.What We’re Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching upper elementary or middle school students, preferably in a Jewish Day School setting. Language Skills: Moderate fluency or better in Hebrew reading, writing, and speaking. Educational Background: A degree and/or certification in Judaic Studies, Education, or a related field. Methodology: A blend of traditional and innovative teaching methods with excellent classroom management skills.Compensation & Benefits: Salary: Annual salary of $65,000 – $87,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
