Lower School Admissions Associate
Full-time position to begin July 1, 2026
Perelman Jewish Day School, a Pre-K to 5th grade independent school in the Philadelphia area, is seeking a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Lower School Admissions Associate to join the team that will recruit, enroll, and retain a diverse and dynamic student body. In the fall of 2027–2028, Perelman Jewish Day School and Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy will unify to create a new independent PreK–12 Jewish community day school. The Lower School Admissions Associate will be a key partner in supporting the school’s growth during this exciting period of transition. They will play an integral role in shaping the inaugural class of the new school while supporting long-term enrollment growth in the community. This role is ideal for a relationship-oriented professional who enjoys working closely with families and serving as an ambassador for the school community.
The Lower School Admissions Associate will report to the Director of Enrollment and work in close partnership with the Enrollment, Academic and Institutional Advancement teams across all campuses. A primary focus of this role will be managing the admissions process for prospective families at the Forman Center and serving as a key point of contact for the Forman families throughout their journey.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary liaison for prospective families at the Forman Center, guiding them through the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment
- Conduct tours for prospective families, with a primary focus on the Forman Center, while also supporting tours at the Stern Center
- Manage a portfolio of applicants, including tracking applicant progress, coordinating visits, and ensuring timely communication with families
- Support recruitment efforts by helping to identify and engage prospective families including outreach to feeder schools, community organizations and synagogues particularly those in the Northern Suburbs.
- Partner with the Director of Enrollment to plan and execute admissions and recruitment events across both campuses (visiting days, open houses)
- Collaborate with faculty and administrators to ensure a strong and seamless visit experience for applicants
- Partner with faculty and administrators to evaluate applicants and support admissions decisions
- Maintain accurate records and assist in data tracking related to admissions and enrollment
- Support communication efforts, including follow-up with prospective families and coordination of admissions materials
- Cultivate relationships with current families to support retention and word of mouth recruitment
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in education, admissions, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Collaborative, flexible, and eager to be part of a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Google suite, Blackbaud or a different enrollment management system a plus
- Ability to work occasional evenings and Sundays with advance notice
- Familiarity with the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community, particularly the Northern Suburbs, is preferred

Compensation for this position will range from $55,000 to $65,000, is commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive benefits package. Paid time off includes Jewish and secular holidays, two lengthy school vacations, and additional PTO. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, 403(b) and tuition remission.
