Description
OpenDor Media is hiring a Program & Partnerships Manager to support the growth of ConnectED, our educational initiative serving independent and public schools. ConnectED provides schools with resources and experiences that foster thoughtful engagement with the Israeli-Palestinian story, antisemitism, Jewish history, media literacy, and courageous conversations.
As the primary relationship manager for approximately 20-25 partner schools in our cohort, you will play a vital role in expanding ConnectED’s reach and impact. In this role, you will build relationships with school leaders, understand their needs, and connect them with the most relevant ConnectED offerings. You’ll be the bridge between what schools are seeking and what our educators can provide - creating opportunities for meaningful engagement that align with our mission while ensuring an excellent experience from onboarding through implementation.
This position reports to the Program Director of ConnectED and is a full-time, remote position. Occasional in-person meetings with school leaders may be required, depending on the candidate’s location.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for administrators and/or educators at approximately 20-25 ConnectED partner schools, building strong, trusted, and lasting relationships.
- Identify opportunities to expand ConnectED’s engagement with partner schools by aligning their needs with our programs, workshops, and educational resources.
- Meet regularly with school leaders to understand challenges, pitch relevant ConnectED offerings, and shape customized engagement plans that advance their educational goals.
- Collaborate with speakers and educators to coordinate and schedule professional development sessions, student programs, and other educational offerings.
- Manage the full lifecycle of each partnership, from onboarding through implementation, follow-up, and renewal.
- Facilitate community-building webinars, promoting peer learning and dialogue among participating schools.
- Develop guest speaker program plans, and manage scheduling, logistics, and communication for meetings and school events.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of meetings and programs in Salesforce and the ConnectED Events calendar.
- Monitor satisfaction and engagement, proactively addressing issues and identifying ways to strengthen relationships.
- Represent ConnectED at school events (virtually or in person) to ensure programs are executed with excellence, and at conferences as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with the ConnectED team to refine our offerings based on school feedback and emerging opportunities.
Requirements
What You Have:
- Relationship Management & Opportunity Creation: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators and other stakeholders. Skilled at listening to partners’ needs, identifying opportunities, and connecting them with the right ConnectED offerings.
- Strategic, Detail-Oriented, and Organized: Able to balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail. You manage multiple projects and partnerships with precision, ensuring seamless communication, follow-up, and implementation.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear, persuasive, and well-crafted emails. Confident engaging school leaders, facilitating discussions, and representing ConnectED with professionalism and warmth.
- Educational Insight (Formal or Informal): Experience in educational environments—whether in classrooms, school administration, nonprofits, or related organizations. You understand how schools operate and what educators need to succeed.
- Collaborative, Tech-Savvy, and Mission-Driven: Comfortable using Salesforce, Google Suite, and other digital tools. You bring positive energy, initiative, and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment deeply aligned with ConnectED’s mission.
