- Social Media
- United States
- Full-time
Description
Unpacked, a division of OpenDor Media, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Manager for our social media department to help run the operational side of our growing social media team. This role will ensure that all campaigns, collaborations, and creative projects move smoothly — on time, on brand, and in sync across multiple Unpacked accounts and teams.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who loves bringing order to creative chaos — someone who thrives on building structure, managing workflows, coordinating people, and keeping a bird’s-eye view of everything happening across the social ecosystem. This person will serve as the right hand to the Head of Social Media, overseeing priorities, keeping the team aligned, and ensuring Unpacked’s social presence continues to thrive.
This position is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Head of Unpacked’s Social Media.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
Project & Operations Management
- Oversee timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for all social media campaigns, launches, and cross-team collaborations.
- Maintain and enhance workflow systems (Wrike, Airtable, Sprout Social, Google Drive) to ensure organized, transparent execution.
- Coordinate across creators, designers, editors, copywriters, and other departments to manage feedback cycles and meet deadlines.
- Track progress and performance across Unpacked accounts, maintain documentation, and compile campaign reports and insights for stakeholders
Cross-Functional Support
- Coordinate cross-channel launches and campaigns with video, podcast, web and community teams.
- Lead coordination with Marketing and Fundraising around projects, campaigns, deliverables, timelines, and reports.
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose system improvements for greater efficiency and clarity.
Team Management
- Act as the right hand to the Head of Social Media, helping guide team priorities, workflows, and performance while supporting day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate across social, shortform video, and creative teams to ensure clarity on roles, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist with resource allocation, freelancer management, and team communication to maintain smooth, efficient operations.
- Provide operational continuity and support during the Head of Social Media’s maternity leave, helping maintain workflows, approvals, and cross-department coordination.
- Foster a collaborative, positive team culture that reflects OpenDor Media’s values of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
What You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or production within social media, marketing, or creative environments.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) and how teams create and optimize content for each.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Clear, confident communicator who collaborates effectively across creative and operational teams to solve challenges.
- Proficiency with project management and analytics tools (Wrike, Airtable, Asana, Notion, Sprout Social, Metricool, native insights).
- Team management or mentorship experience a plus; passion for Unpacked’s mission and familiarity with Jewish culture, history, or Israel preferred.
