Position Summary:
A large Non-Profit is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to oversee its internal accounting functions. This role will work closely with the internal accounting team to ensure that all accounting and finance activities are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of working in the office three days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for submitting all accounts payable to CI
- Responsible for making sure all bills are sent out and accounts payable are received
- Ensure all expenses are booked to the correct GL Codes
- Ensure all Concur credit card payments are reconciled and submitted on time each month
- Assist staff with reimbursement submissions
- Work with Directors to keep to current budgets and prepare for annual budget
- Actively maintain a current body of knowledge of programs, campaigns, aspirations and development priorities.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Some weekend and evening work hours required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or administrative experience.
- Ability to use current desktop/mobile office technologies proficiently and to adapt to and use future technologies.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can initiate and maintain contacts, relationships, projects, meetings and events.
- A problem solver, able to visualize and articulate solutions using an analytical mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline pressures in a high-volume office.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $55,00-$65,000 a year, commensurate with experience.
