About The Honey Foundation for Israel:

The Honey Foundation for Israel invests in grassroots, Israeli-led spiritual leaders who are reimagining what it means to live a meaningful Jewish life. By supporting entrepreneurial rabbis, rabbanit, and community builders across Israel, we're working to create a more open, pluralistic, and connected Israeli Judaism — one that reflects the full diversity of Israeli society and strengthens Jewish life around the world.

We believe that how Israelis live as Jews shapes not only Israeli society, but the future of world Jewry. Our work spans strategic investment in spiritual entrepreneurs, professional development networks, leadership forums, and building bridges between Israeli and global Jewish communities.

Position Overview

The Honey Foundation is seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help bring our mission to life across digital platforms. This is a content-first role: you'll ideate, produce, and publish compelling multimedia content that introduces our Fellows, tells the story of Israeli spiritual entrepreneurship, and builds a growing community of supporters, partners, and Jewish communal leaders around our work.

You'll work closely with Foundation leadership and staff to translate the Foundation's mission, Fellows' stories, and on-the-ground impact in Israel into content that resonates with donors, thought leaders, and the broader Jewish communal world. This is a highly independent role, well-suited to someone who is comfortable owning the Foundation's social media presence end to end and who combines strong visual and storytelling instincts with a deep commitment to Jewish peoplehood and Israeli society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ideate and edit short-form video content (Fellow spotlights, event recaps, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews) for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Design social-first graphics that reflect the Foundation's brand and voice
  • Maintain a consistent visual and editorial identity across all channels, adapting Foundation messaging for each platform's best practices
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and help grow an active, engaged online community
  • Partner with Foundation leadership and staff to align social content with organizational priorities, donor initiatives, and campaigns
  • Work with Fellows and Foundation staff to gather footage, photos, and stories from the field in Israel
  • Help design and execute marketing campaigns for Foundation events, fundraising initiatives, and Fellow program milestones
  • Support outreach to prospective donors and partners by helping translate the Foundation's story and impact into compelling marketing assets
  • Track engagement and growth metrics across marketing channels and use insights to inform outreach and business development strategy

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, video production, or graphic design (nonprofit, Jewish communal, or mission-driven organization experience a plus)
  • Proficiency with mobile-first and desktop editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and audiences
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Genuine interest in and familiarity with Israeli society, Jewish communal life, and/or religious pluralism
  • Comfortable working remotely as part of a small, collaborative team

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Hebrew language proficiency
  • Familiarity with email marketing or CRM platforms used to support donor communications
  • Prior experience working with or within Israeli or Jewish nonprofit organizations
