Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM September through June Program Highlights: The first-grade curriculum includes: <ul> <li>Hebrew alphabet and vowels</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Jewish holidays</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Torah stories</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Israel</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Tefilot</li> </ul> Additional Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Participation in staff meetings, planning and curriculum development </li> <li>Mentor teen madrichim/classroom helpers</li> </ul> Who You Are: <ul> <li>A passionate and engaging Jewish educator dedicated to student-centered learning</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Creative, flexible, and excellent at working with diverse learners</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Fluency in Hebrew a plus!</li> </ul> Compensation: $6,000-$8,000 for the year. Commensurate with experience. Opportunities for positions in Temple Emanuel’s various education programs during weekday afternoons for additional compensation. </div>
