<div id="description"> Description MUSIC TEACHER - 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School, a boutique, academically rigorous Jewish day school on Manhattan's Upper East Side, is seeking a warm, energetic, and creative part-time Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Music Teacher will teach Early Childhood students and Grades 1-4, creating engaging, age-appropriate classes that incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, and musical exploration. Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience teaching music to young children</li> <li>Knowledge of traditional Jewish music, Jewish holidays, and contemporary Israeli music</li> <li>Exerience teaching Hebrew and Jewish music</li> <li>Piano or keyboard proficiency strongly preferred; guitar proficiency welcomed</li> <li>Ability to play by ear</li> <li>Hebrew fluency preferred</li> <li>Warm, engaging, and collaborative approach</li> </ul> Schedule: Three days per week, selected from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: Approcimately 10:00 am-3:00 pm Start Date: September 1, 2026 Compensation: Commensurate with experience References: required Please send a cover letter and resume to [email hidden] </div>
