The New York Board of Rabbis (NYBR) is a private, non-profit organization that has significantly impacted Jewish life in New York for over 140 years. With more than 750 members, it is the largest interdenominational rabbinic body in the world. The NYBR provides opportunities for rabbis of different denominations to come together for study, professional development, and ongoing education. It also offers vital support and mentoring to ensure high levels of rabbinic commitment within the Jewish community. The organization advocates for the welfare of both Jewish and non-Jewish communities, promoting understanding and cooperation among different faiths.
