The Clergy & Congregational Support Coordinator provides essential administrative, scheduling, communications, and logistical support for clergy and congregational operations at Congregation Har HaShem. This position is often the first point of contact for congregants and visitors and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and responsive experience for all who engage with the synagogue.

The Coordinator supports members with a variety of administrative needs, including completing forms, processing payments, answering financial and membership-related questions, and connecting congregants with appropriate resources. The ideal candidate demonstrates patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping congregants navigate administrative processes with warmth, respect, and care.

This role ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of clergy schedules, worship preparation, lifecycle communications, and congregational engagement systems. Most importantly, this role requires a genuine enjoyment of helping people and the ability to make every congregant feel welcomed, heard, and supported.

Our Community

Congregation Har HaShem is the only Reform Jewish congregation—and the largest congregation—in Boulder County. We create meaning in our lives through a wide range of Jewish practices and experiences.

We strive to be a community of belonging, seeing people for who they are and where they are in their Jewish journeys. One of our core values is ensuring that our congregants are noticed, named, known, needed, and nurtured.

We believe individuals and families should have multiple gateways into Jewish life and learning, and we continue to experiment with programs that vary in content, cohort, format, schedule, and intensity of involvement.

Our vision is grounded in Jewish values:

G'milut Chasadim – We celebrate together and lift one another through acts of generosity and kindness.

B'tzelem Elohim – We honor the divine potential in every person.

Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof – We pursue justice and work to repair the world.
