Who We Are Founded in 2002 by a group of young professionals in New York City, the Natan Fund inspires people to become deeply engaged in Jewish giving by funding innovative projects that are shaping the Jewish future. Natan is a giving circle: members pool their funds and support new and undiscovered ideas, primarily through a multi-stage grant review process. Members experience proactive, intentional grantmaking through sitting on the board and grant committees, attending regular events, traveling together and conducting site visits, and many other opportunities for learning.

Natan is a small and constantly evolving organization with a smart, warm, and growing staff. Our team needs to be flexible, collaborative, and willing to perform all of the tasks associated with running a small organization and office.

We need a proactive problem-solver who will tackle all responsibilities, large and small, with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, and an incredibly strong attention to detail. This is well suited for early career professionals with an enormous amount of opportunity: we’re seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about innovation in Jewish communal life, and who will run with the opportunity to engage with creative social entrepreneurs and organizations and to think through ways that Natan can be most helpful to them in their work and to the field more generally.
