The Museum of Jewish Heritage seeks a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital storytelling and online engagement efforts. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and creative storyteller who can oversee a wide range of digital initiatives with support from a direct report and external vendors. As key part of the Marketing & Communications team, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the Museum’s websites, direct email marketing campaigns, video and multimedia storytelling, digital advertising strategies, and the production of video materials. The Manager will also play a key role in shaping the Museum’s voice online, strengthening its brand, and deepening connections with audiences through compelling content.

Responsibilities

  • With the SVP of Marketing & Communications, lead the Museum’s digital strategy, ensuring consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
  • Oversee website management (WordPress), SEO optimization, and user experience improvements.
  • Direct the planning, creation, and performance analysis of email, newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with social media and blog teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Guide the production of videos, photography, and multimedia storytelling, including managing the Museum’s YouTube channel, Bloomberg Connects, and other digital educational content.
  • Collaborate cross departmentally with development, curatorial, and education to deliver seamless communications support and digital resources.
  • Track and report on analytics, turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Supervise the Digital Marketing Producer and various consultants responsible for day-to-day execution of digital initiatives.
  • Provide Communications representation and leadership at internal and external events.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Production, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of professional experience in digital marketing or communications (nonprofit or cultural sector preferred), including in a supervisory role
  • Understanding of Jewish history and heritage or Holocaust education is preferred.
  • Expertise in website management (WordPress), SEO, MailChimp, CRM systems (Altru),Adobe Suite’s Premiere and Photoshop, YouTube, and Google Analytics. Experience with Bloomberg Connects app and Microsoft 365 a plus.
  • Experience managing creative projects, including video and multimedia with a proven track record in producing digital media for effective storytelling.
  • Skilled at interpreting analytics and refining strategies based on data.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
  • Supervisory experience and a collaborative style.

Position Details

  • Reports to the SVP, Communications & Marketing
  • Supervises the Digital Marketing Producer
  • Salary compensation range $75,000-$85,000 with generous benefits
  • Full-time, 40 hours a week including some evening and weekend hours, with hybrid schedule available after 90 days
