Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Department: Physical Plant Supervisor: Physical Plant, Supervisor Job Objective: This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance and safety standards. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 1-2 years of related experience Licensure: CT State Motor Vehicle Driver's License Essential Job Functions: <ul> <li>Make daily rounds in an efficient and orderly manner while observing plant mechanicals and building structure.</li> <li> Carefully clean all commercial capacity dryers in the laundry areas on a daily basis.</li> <li>Perform jobs as required by work orders in a safe and timely manner including security coverage for building entrances.</li> <li>Perform snow removal. </li> <li>Assist in all emergency matters ranging from fire safety procedure to on call service for extreme weather conditions.</li> <li>Other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
