Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader to oversee and guide a group of students in a dynamic and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for education and youth development, ensuring that all participants feel supported and motivated. This role involves planning activities, managing group dynamics, and fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.

We're Looking for Someone Who Can Lead Activities In (Leading More Than 1 is Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a group of students in various activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the interests and needs of the group.
  • Educate participants through interactive lessons, workshops, and hands-on experiences.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to promote a respectful and collaborative environment.
  • Provide support in tutoring sessions, assisting students with their academic challenges.
  • Organize recreational activities such as sports, theater, or arts to enhance teamwork and creativity.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including first aid protocols when necessary.

Skills

  • Strong background in educating or tutoring students, with experience in classroom management.
  • Familiarity with childcare practices and the ability to connect with children effectively.
  • Experience in sports coaching or theater is highly desirable to enrich program offerings.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in various situations.
  • First aid certification is a plus, ensuring readiness for any emergencies that may arise.
