Director of Partnerships is responsible for leading Mosaic United's global partnerships portfolio. The role provides strategic leadership and oversight for the development, management, and implementation of partnerships with leading organizations in the field of informal Jewish education for teens across the Jewish Diaspora. The Director of Partnerships leads the regional partnerships department, manages a Portfolio Manager, and ensures that all partnerships, programs, and funding activities align with Mosaic United's organizational strategy, priorities, and guidelines. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the regional programming strategy, including implementing program structure, criteria, and success metrics, managing the RFP process, evaluating proposals, finalizing agreements, and overseeing funding disbursement
• Oversee the regional partnership portfolio by ensuring effective partner engagement and that programs meet agreed objectives, KPIs, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Identify strategic opportunities to strengthen the field of informal Jewish education for teens and expand meaningful engagement across the assigned region.
• Build and maintain relationships with leading organizations, networks, and stakeholders in the field of informal Jewish education.
• Oversee reporting processes, payment approvals, and compliance with Mosaic United policies and Ministry of Diaspora Affairs guidelines.
• Support the partner audit process, facilitate partner cooperation during reviews, and follow up on any required corrective actions.
• Manage and mentor a Portfolio Manager, including setting priorities, monitoring performance, and supporting professional development.
• Oversee the regional partnerships budget in coordination with the CFO and COO.
• Collaborate with the Director of Knowledge and Impact to build and implement evaluation frameworks across the regional portfolio, ensuring data is collected consistently and translated into actionable insights.
• Track and analyze portfolio-level data in collaboration with the Strategy team to surface field-wide insights and inform future funding, partnership strategy, and broader organizational learning
• Maintain organized documentation of all partnership activities — including agreements, reporting cycles, and payment records — utilizing organizational systems to ensure institutional memory across the portfolio.
• Represent Mosaic United at relevant conferences, convenings, and field-building initiatives in the region.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure partnership activities are effectively and consistently communicated.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, partnerships, grants management, philanthropy, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Experience managing a portfolio of programs, grants, or organizational partnerships, including setting objectives and success metrics, evaluating proposals, managing agreements, and overseeing reporting and funding.
• Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, including nonprofit organizations, funders, senior leadership, and partners.
• Experience with budgets, financial oversight, contracts, compliance, and/or grant management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM, grant management, and project management platforms (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
