Reports To: Chief Strategy and Learning OfficerDepartment: 65FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, 30-hours per weekPurpose: Engage Jewish teens year-round through the Merage JCC, BBYO, and community partnerships; create meaningful opportunities grounded in Jewish values where teens feel connected, safe, heard, and empowered.Responsibilities include:- Communications and community collaboration: build relationships with teens, families, advisors, alumni, partners; develop communications and recruitment strategies (digital/social, direct outreach, peer-to-peer); coordinate community-wide programs (Global Shabbat, JTeens Day of Service, Chai Tide) with teen leadership teams.- Merage JCC programming: JCC Maccabi (serve as Delegation Head, recruit, manage admin/travel, travel with teens); Young Philanthropists (recruit; partner with Center for Jewish Life on learning); JCC Global Teens (develop leadership program; recruit; travel with teens; currently on hold).- BBYO in OC: serve as City Director and regional staff; support/grow chapters via recruitment, leadership development, chapter support; coach teen leaders; lead city-wide events; support regional programs.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree; 1–2 years experience working with teens- Familiarity with Jewish values and traditions; inclusive approach- Team collaboration; strong organizational/project/problem-solving skills- Comfortable recruiting/engaging teens ages 12–17- Strong customer service; flexible schedule; LiveScan/CPR/AED/First Aid (or willing to obtain); proficient with relevant tech platformsApply: Submit letter of interest and resume to hr@jccoc.org.
