Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities and the ability to make basic repairs. Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Ability to follow instructions
- Respond to building and cleaning requests
- Monitor lobby, corridors, elevators and stairwells for cleanliness
- Pick-up, empty and move full trash bags/containers
- Remove debris from floor
- Clean toilets/sinks as needed
- Fill paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers as needed
- Clean any spills as needed
- Clean common areas
- Clean fingerprints/marks from glass doors/mirrors
- Perform detail dusting, vacuuming and mopping as needed
- Follow all safety and personnel rules, policies and regulations
Abilities:
- Work from broad direction with limited supervision
- Work well with culturally diverse people; establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public; work well with varied and demanding people
- Communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing

Working Conditions:
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
- The noise level in the environment is low.
- Work is generally scheduled in advance from Monday through Sunday and may include early morning hours, afternoon hours, and evening hours.
