This position is ideal for the Senior College Student, or Master’s student who is working towards a career in education, psychology, management, and enjoys working with kids! This applicant must be available in the afternoon 12-15 hours per week.

Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County is a fast-paced family oriented, non-profit, and located in a 220,000 square foot facility with Orange County’s finest after school program- Club J.

We provide services to the community including fitness, sports leagues, aquatics, camps, pre-school, and cultural arts. Our employees are able to use the facilities- one of many benefits. Club J afterschool program offer a variety of classes i.e.; academics, science, history, sports, Judaic, language, performance arts, and cultural arts; 18-24 classes within an 8 week session during the calendar school year. Each enrichment class is run by a qualified educator and instructor with specialized skills.

We run a successful program, and your ability to work with various people from different disciplines and cultures, to problem solve, time manage and exercise organizational skills will be key to our continued success.

Candidates must be self-motivated, committed to working hard, and passionate about working with kids. Prior work experience with children recommended.

Hours range from 1:30pm- 6pm with constant opportunities for additional hours.

Requirements:

• Have LIVE Scan from the State of California or must obtain prior to start date
• CPR/First Aid Certified
