Year-round Swim Instructors for the Merage JCC. Implement a curriculum and individualized plan for swim instruction to promote lifetime safety in and around water; maintain integrity, safety, and values in interactions with children, parents, and staff.Qualifications: 2 years swimming/teaching (preferred) or equivalent; 18+ and HS graduate; fun, friendly, outgoing; reliable; energetic; team player; experience with swimming and/or children.Compensation/Benefits: $18–$20/hr; after 90 days, commission-based pay up to $24/hr for high performers; great work environment; year-round positions (post-90 days, make your schedule); teamwork; rewarding experience.Responsibilities: Arrive 15 minutes before shift; wear staff shirt; respond to basic inquiries about lessons; set up teaching areas; clean/maintain pool areas; communicate with parents on progression/personal plan; contact parents with updates.
