Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County is a fast-paced, family-oriented nonprofit with Orange County’s finest after school program—Club J—and summer camp—Camp Haverim. Employees can use the facilities. Club J offers multiple classes (academics, science, history, sports, Judaic, language, performance arts, cultural arts) within 8-week sessions.Qualifications: Assist instructors and programming; strong customer service (outgoing, friendly, confident, mature); self-motivated and engaging; excellent organization/multitasking; strong communication; experience in childcare/ECE or related field; Work Permit if under 18; LiveScan, CPR, AED, First Aid certified or willing upon hire.Physical Demands: talk/hear; use hands/fingers; reach; occasional lifting/carrying 10–40 lbs; walk/stand up to 4 hours with break; squatting/bending/stooping; overhead reach while balancing ~10 lbs; push/pull ~10 lbs; specific vision abilities.Hours: M–F 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. with opportunity for additional hours.
