Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. Merage JCC provides fitness, sports, aquatics, camps, preschool, and cultural arts. Club J afterschool program offers 18–24 classes within an 8-week session each school year.Qualifications: Assist instructors and programming; strong customer service; outgoing and engaging; organizational and multitasking skills; strong communication; experience in childcare/early childhood/related field; if under 18, work permit required; LiveScan, CPR, AED, First Aid (or obtain upon hire). Physical demands include talking/hearing; hand/finger use; reaching; occasional lifting 10–40 lbs; standing/walking up to 4 hours with breaks; squatting/bending/stooping; reaching overhead with ~10 lbs; pushing/pulling ~10 lbs; close/distance/peripheral vision.Hours range: M–F 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., with opportunity for additional hours.
