Year-round Swim Instructors for the Merage JCC’s supportive aquatics culture and community. Extraordinary facility with fitness complex, preschool, teen center, gymnasium, pool, senior center, education rooms, and theater/auditorium. Instructors implement curriculum for individual swim instruction focused on safety and confidence; maintain integrity, safety, and values with children, parents, and staff. Preferred profile: 2 years swimming/teaching experience or equivalent; 18+ and HS graduate; fun, friendly, outgoing; reliable; energetic; team player; experience with swimming and/or children. Benefits: $18–$20/hr; after 90 days, opportunity for commission-based pay up to $24/hr; great work environment; year-round positions (after 90 days you set schedule); teamwork and rewarding experience. Responsibilities include: arrive 15 minutes early; wear staff uniform; handle basic emails/calls; set up teaching areas; clean/maintain pool areas; address parent questions on progression/curriculum; contact parents with updates.
