Lead and coordinate group adult fitness/physical training sessions. Duties: plan and lead sessions, set up/monitor class equipment, advise participants on procedures and policies, distribute materials and follow up, track client progress and maintain files, ensure safety and report incidents, and perform related duties. Minimum requirements: high school diploma or GED; 1+ year related experience; recognized competency and technical certification as applicable (AFAA, ACE, NETA, NASM, etc.); higher education may substitute for experience. Skills: first aid, strong interpersonal/communication, records maintenance, fitness training knowledge, exercise principles/technology, equipment/facility operation, routine paperwork, and enforcing safety procedures. Conditions: CPR within 2 months; background check; extensive physical activity including heavy lifting over 50 lbs; possible exposure to elements/noise. Contact debbief@jccoc.org for more information.
