Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Merage JCC operates Orange County’s finest after school program—Club J—and Camp Haverim. Employees may use facilities. Club J offers 18–24 enrichment classes per 8-week session. Counselors assist instructors and programming. Qualifications: strong customer service (outgoing, friendly, confident, mature); self-motivated and able to engage a wide range of participants; organizational and multitasking skills; strong communication; experience in childcare/ECE or related field; Work Permit if under 18; LiveScan, CPR, AED, and First Aid certified or willing upon hire. Physical Demands: talking/hearing, hands/fingers, reaching, lifting/carrying 10–40 lbs, walking/standing up to 4 hours, squatting/bending/stooping, overhead reaching, pushing/pulling 10 lbs; specific vision abilities.
