JDiscovery offers a STEM-based childcare program for children 18 months to 8 years while parents engage in fitness at the center. Includes hosting birthday parties on weekends. Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to ensure a positive, engaging experience. Key Responsibilities:- Birthday Party & Weekend Event Facilitation: Set up/lead activities and events; organize sports/pool games; manage snack bar; plan and facilitate birthday parties.- Childcare & Supervision: Provide attentive/nurturing care; maintain safe environment; supervise ages 18 months–8 years.- Activity Design & Facilitation: Create and implement age-appropriate STEAM activities; facilitate hands-on learning; engage children in developmental/sensory/active play.- Administrative Duties: Process payments/passes; log entrants; address member concerns professionally.- Customer Service & Representation: Provide exceptional service; maintain positive attitude; represent Merage JCC professionally.- Maintenance & Safety: Follow safety policies; maintain cleanliness/organization in JDiscovery. Qualifications: Strong customer service; experience in childcare/early childhood; understanding of STEAM; organizational and communication skills; flexible schedule (weekends/holidays); if under 18, Work Permit required; LiveScan/CPR/AED/First Aid or willing to complete upon hire.Working Conditions: Indoor/outdoor incl. poolside; physical activity setting up equipment/leading games.Job Type: Part-time.
