JDiscovery offers a STEM-based childcare program for children aged 18 months to 8 years old, allowing parents/guardians to engage in fitness routines while children enjoy interactive STEAM activities. This role also includes hosting birthday parties on weekends. Key Responsibilities: Birthday Party and Weekend Event Facilitation (set up/lead activities and events; organize sports-based activities, pool games; manage snack bar; plan/implement/facilitate birthday parties). Childcare and Supervision (attentive, nurturing care; maintain safe environment; look after children ages 18 months to 8 years). Activity Design and Facilitation (create/plan/implement age-appropriate STEAM activities; hands-on learning; developmental/sensory/active play). Administrative Duties (process payments and passes; log entrants; address member concerns). Customer Service and Representation (exceptional service; positive attitude; represent the JCC professionally). Maintenance and Safety (follow policies for safe, age-appropriate activities; maintain cleanliness and organization). Qualifications: Strong customer service; experience in childcare/ECE or related field; knowledge of STEAM; excellent organizational and multitasking skills; strong communication; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays; if under 18, Work Permit; LiveScan, CPR, AED, First Aid certified or willing upon hire. Working Conditions: Indoor/outdoor environments, including poolside; physical activity setting up equipment and leading games. Job Type: Part-time. Pay: $18.00 per hour.
