Position Purpose: The Culinary Instructor plans and teaches engaging cooking classes for children and adults, explains culinary techniques, and supports curriculum development under the guidance of the Culinary Arts Director. Requires excellent organization, communication, and customer service. Evening and weekend shifts required.Major Areas of Responsibility: developing curriculum (including holiday cuisine, challah baking, Jewish ethnic cooking), teaching a variety of cooking classes (ClubJ, Preschool, adult), administrative tasks (recipes, registrations, inventory), kitchen prep (testing recipes, shopping, prep), and maintaining sanitary/safe kitchen etiquette.Schedule: Day shift hours (average 31–40 hrs); evening shifts as needed.
