POSITION PURPOSE: The Chief Executive Officer of the Merage Jewish Community Center serves as a dynamic, transformational, and participative leader dedicated to advancing the Center's mission of strengthening Jewish life and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community. As the public face of the JCC, the CEO communicates a compelling vision and ensures its alignment with strategic goals, engaging the Board and community stakeholders. Major areas of responsibility include Strategic Leadership & Vision; Board Engagement & Governance; Organizational Management & Staff Development; Operational Oversight (fundraising & event management, finance & controls, programming, membership & marketing, security & risk, facilities); Planning, Development, and Growth; and Community Relations. Primary qualifications include 10+ years of executive leadership in Jewish nonprofit/communal organizations, strategic planning and crisis leadership, fundraising, financial & operational management, board relations, commitment to Judaism and Israel, community engagement, staff development, and strong communication skills.
