Who We Are:

Mem Global is where Jewish young adults in their 20s and early 30s come to connect, explore, and create meaningful Jewish experiences with their peers. As the umbrella brand for our global suite of programs, Mem Global supports young adults as they bring Judaism to life through thousands of peer-driven gatherings across 25+ countries each year. We’re all about creating spaces where Jewish young adults can lead, embrace, learn, and build the kind of community that will build a strong and vibrant Jewish future for all of us.

Mem Global seeks a Global RSJ Educator to lead Jewish learning and provide educational support to Russian-speaking community members, primarily outside North America across Europe, Asia, and Israel, with some engagement in North America. Jewish education is a core pillar of Mem Global’s community-building model, and this role ensures that RSJ young adults experience meaningful Jewish learning as an integrated part of their journey.

The position reports directly to the Associate Director, Global Retreats and Jewish Education, and is embedded within the Global Team. The role also maintains a formal dotted-line relationship with the broader Jewish Education team, partnering closely with our VP of the Jewish Learning Department and the Associate Director for Jewish Education, to support knowledge sharing, curriculum alignment, and consistency in educational standards across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Global Responsibilities (including North America):
    • Lead Jewish education onboarding for new residents.
    • Create educational resources aligned with community builder program needs, share resources, and offer ongoing learning support across programs.
    • Approve Jewish Incentive Opportunities (JIOs), including grants and scholarships that support Jewish learning, leadership, and skill-building directly tied to community builders’ hosting.
  • Europe & Asia-Specific Responsibilities (outside North America):
    • Ensure Houses meet Jewish learning and content benchmarks.
    • Consult with Community Managers on individual House needs.
    • Conduct site visits to RSJ Houses to build relationships with residents and assess local needs.
    • Maintain and update databases of local educators and Russian-language educational resources.
    • Teach at retreats and GlobalCon, including planning and leading two annual RSJ Global retreats (outside North America) with oversight of Jewish content and learning sessions.
    • Maintain and update databases of local educators and Russian-language educational resources.

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Jewish Studies or related field with at least 24 months of formal Jewish education training (four additional years of relevant full-time experience may substitute). Master's degree, ordination, or certificate program, preferred.
  • You have a minimum of five years of experience in Jewish education or a related field (MG experience preferred), including facilitation of trainings, reflections, and educational programs.
  • You are proficient in spoken and written English and Russian, with strong presentation and writing skills and experience teaching Russian-speaking young adults.
  • You are highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
