Margolin Hebrew Academy - Feinstone Yeshiva of the South is an Orthodox Jewish school for children in grades Pre-K3 through 12 located in Memphis, Tennessee. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our campus sits on a beautiful 7-acre parcel of land in a residential section of East Memphis. The main buildings include classrooms, offices, a computer lab, gymnasium, art room and dining room. Our outdoor facilities include an elementary baseball field which doubles as a practice football field in off-seasons. In addition, two playgrounds, covering over 4,500 square feet serve individual recreational needs and abilities of preschool and elementary students. Early childhood classes serving three, four, and five-year-old students take place in a dedicated early childhood wing complete with an indoor play area and lunch room. Our early childhood teachers use instruction built on Project Approach learning, utilizing small group teaching techniques to tailor learning opportunities for each student. Elementary students (grades 1-5) attend classes in a wing which houses a dedicated art room, library, science lab, and computer lab. Middle School students (grades 6-8) share a wing with dedicated adolescent-focused staff and Hebrew language teachers. Our boys high school wing, Cooper Yeshiva, includes a beit midrash, classrooms, an updated science lab, a library, and a student lounge. Our girls high school campus, Goldie Margolin School, is housed in a separate building within walking distance of the gym, athletics fields, and dining facilities. The Goldie Margolin School includes a separate Beit Midrasha/library, and a recently renovated student lounge. We, at MHAFYOS, are lucky to have an outstanding faculty and administration. We are proud to say that many of our teachers and leaders have been a part of our community for decades. We also welcome new staff that assist us with keeping our curriculum fresh and relevant to our broader community. All of our MHA-FYOS graduates attend colleges or universities after graduation, and many attend a gap year at yeshivot or seminaries in Israel. Many alumni currently serve on our board of trustees and remain actively involved in assisting the school with various needs. Three Orthodox congregations and the Vaad Harabonim of Memphis support our school community. We have supportive parents and dedicated faculty. Margolin Hebrew Academy - Feinstone Yeshiva of the South offers its students a strong education steeped in tradition and Torah values. We would love to share information with you or schedule a tour.
