Camp Barney Medintz is a Jewish overnight summer camp in Northern Georgia. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to join our summer team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Front of House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our camp's dining hall. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for teaching staff, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining hall staff, including support staff servers and dishwashers.

· Ensure that all campers and staff receive exceptional customer service and have a positive dining experience

· Handle camper and staff complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner

· Collaborate with the Food Service Director, Kitchen Manager, and other camp staff to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall camp dining experience

· Maintain a clean and organized dining hall, following Georgia’s health and safety standards

· Train and develop dining hall staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional and timely customer service

· Perform other duties as required by the Food Service Director and Kitchen Manager

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in food service, hospitality, or a related field

· Proven record of success in leading teams and delivering exceptional customer service

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

· Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
