Part-Time Program & Marketing Coordinator

Part-Time | Tel Aviv, Israel | Reports to MJE Leadership

About MJE

The Manhattan Jewish Experience (MJE) is one of New York Citys premier Jewish outreach

organizations, serving thousands of young Jewish professionals through Shabbat dinners,

holiday celebrations, retreats, classes, and community programming. Founded by Rabbi Mark

Wildes, MJE has spent over 25 years helping young Jews discover meaningful Jewish lives and

build lasting community.

MJE Tel Aviv represents an exciting new chapter — bringing MJE;s signature warmth, energy,

and programming to one of the world's most vibrant young Jewish cities.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and socially connected individual to help launch and

grow MJEs Tel Aviv division. This is a part-time, ground-floor opportunity for someone who is

passionate about Jewish community, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a

meaningful role in building something new.

The role is split between event and program logistics (60%) and marketing and community

growth (40%). This is a building-year role — youll be helping establish systems, routines, and

community from the ground up.

What Youll Do

Program & Event Logistics (60%)

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for MJE TLV events including Shabbat dinners, holiday

programs, social events, and learning opportunities

• Source and manage vendors, venues, catering, and supplies while maintaining kosher

standards

• Manage RSVPs, guest lists, intake, and attendee communications for all events

• Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact on event days, ensuring smooth execution

• Track budgets and manage expenses in coordination with MJE leadership

• Coordinate trip logistics — publicity, participant recruiting and tracking, payments, flights,

orientation, staff correspondence, and post-trip reunions

• Oversee learning program administration — tracking applications, interviews, payments,

course materials, ordering books, printing, and weekly participant correspondence

• Maintain an updated participant database; manage intake for all events and programs

• Send weekly correspondence emails and thank you letters to participants and donors

• Develop and maintain systems and calendars for recurring and one-off programming

• Assist with office projects including database management and website systems

Marketing & Community Growth (40%)

• Manage and update the MJE TLV website (Wix) — events, program pages, and content

• Create and design flyers, social media posts, and promotional materials for all

programming (using Canva; Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

• Manage MJE TLVs social media presence (Instagram, WhatsApp groups, etc.) with

content that captures the energy and spirit of the community

• Write, design, and send weekly email communications to the TLV community list

• Promote events strategically via social media, e-marketing, and print

• Build and grow MJE TLVs mailing list and digital audience

• Identify and cultivate relationships with community partners, influencers, and connectors

in the Tel Aviv young professional scene

• Capture photos and video at events for ongoing content creation and community

storytelling

• Report on engagement metrics and make recommendations for growing reach and

participation

Key Programs; Events

The Program & Marketing Coordinator will support and attend MJE TLVs growing calendar of

events, which will draw from MJEs proven NYC programming model and include:

Hazikaron/Haatzmaut, and more

• Happy hours and social events for young professionals

• Educational classes and learning programs

• Retreats, trips, and Israel volunteer experiences

• Community milestone events and annual gatherings

Note: This role requires availability for some evening events, Shabbatot, and Jewish holidays.

• Based in Tel Aviv with deep roots in the local young professional community

• Passionate about Jewish identity, Israel, and community building — idealistic and

mission-driven

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
