DESCRIPTION

Knowledge of Hebrew language and Judaic Studies, Jewish religious customs and holidays is a must!

Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Safa Teacher 2026-27 at our Brooklyn school. FT position is available. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.

Responsibilities

  • Hebrew Language teacher

  • Lead in Minha, and Shacharit prayers.

  • The Head Teacher will design and maintain a classroom environment that facilitates active, hands-on learning, group management, self-expression and choice, and inclusion of all children, parents, volunteers and staff.

  • Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.

  • Educate and support students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks.

  • Plan lessons that target specific skills and concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Head Teacher should have a minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience.
