This is a hybrid position. After the first 3 months of in-office training, this position will require you to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all financial and accounting related activities for leased and owned properties of the organization to ensure accurate recording and reporting of income and expenses.
Provide support to the accounting department
Top-notch proficiency in Oracle Netsuite and MS Office
Help with bank, credit card, A/P, payroll reconciliations, posting AP transactions and allocations, drafting and posting journal entries G/L account reconciliations.
Willing to take on any task presented
Qualifications:
2-3 years accounting experience- educational or professional services experience a plus
Proficient with Oracle NetSuite, MS Office and Google Sheets
Familiar with journal entries, A/P, A/R, payroll entries
Strong organizational skills
Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while working well with others
High attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Conscientiousness - Displays a high level of effort and commitment towards performing work and demonstrates responsible behavior
Organization - highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize time management.
Interpersonal skills - Shows courtesy, tact, empathy, cooperation, concern, and politeness to others and relates well to different people
