DESCRIPTION

We are currently offering highly competitive salaries for experienced Middle School Social Studies Teacher for positions during the 2024-25 school year.

The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.

Responsibilities:

  • The position calls for organizational skills, classroom management, effective instructional practices, and a willingness to collaborate with other team members as well as the Social Studies team leader.

  • We believe that teachers are life-long learners, and therefore offer teachers on-going, collaborative professional development opportunities, in order to keep up to date with current best practices in education and have the greatest impact on their students.

  • In addition, communication is key in helping students reach their full potential and to this end, teachers at MDY are asked to have on-going communication with parents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of middle school or elementary classroom teaching experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
