Position Summary
Kohelet Yeshiva is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a HR Coordinator. This is a part-time position that requires the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the HR operations and administrative functions of our school. This position offers flexibility in schedule and requires between 15-25 hours per week depending on the time of year. In addition, this position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in HR management tasks (preferably in non-profit or school setting) and a high level of computer literacy. The ideal candidate will need to effectively manage their own time and workload to meet deadlines to deliver high-quality results and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Track employee time off (PTO, vacation, sick leave)

  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrolling new employees, updating benefit selections, and serving as a point of contact for routine benefit-related questions.

  • Process routine employee requests (employment verifications, benefits inquiries, policy clarifications)

  • Track and monitor required HR compliance documents (I-9s, clearances, certifications)

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, DocuSign, and the ability to learn HR systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
