Position: Donor Database Manager

Supervisor: Chief Development Officer

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 Annually

Job Status: Full-time / Salaried / Exempt

Summary

The Donor Database Manager for Keshet is a key member of the development team, ensuring a high standard of data management, gift entry, and donor support. The Database Manager will use Donor Perfect with daily responsibilities of gift data entry and acknowledgement, data analysis, invoicing donors, donor research, coordinating and supporting gift solicitation activities, stewardship of donors, and report preparation and creation. The successful candidate enjoys data analysis and makes service to donors a priority.

Essential Functions

  • Reporting
    • Maintain data integrity of Donor Perfect and ensure its accuracy
    • Develop accurate custom reports to meet department needs such as
      • Regular fundraising reports
      • Year over year tracking
      • Forecasting
    • Manage event RSVPs, meal preferences, and seating
    • Targeted mailing lists
    • Update solicitor lists
    • Manage data from third party systems
  • Assist the development team in providing exceptional stewardship and customer service to donors, including:
    • Assist donors via phone and email
    • Create and send tribute cards
    • Process donations and invoice for pledges made
    • Send gift acknowledgements
    • Manage third party giving sites such as Benevity and Front Door


  • Professional Development
    • Identify third party fundraising systems when needed
    • Stay up-to-date on latest products and updates from Donor Perfect
    • Reconcile gifts between Donor Perfect and QuickBooks with the finance team

    Qualifications

    • High School degree required
    • Experience in a non-profit organization with database management, preferably Donor Perfect
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn new technology
    • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
    • Team player with positive attitude and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
    • Basic accounting knowledge preferred
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to speak and understand English clearly
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
