LOCATION: Business Office 610 Academy Dr. Northbrook, IL

SUPERVISOR: Human Resources Director

WAGE/HOURS: $15.00 / Hourly - Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm

FLSA CLASSIFICATION : Seasonal

Position Summary

The Human Resources Intern for 2024 will provide support for the Human Resources Department Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. This will include administrative duties including, database entry, tracking of onboarding and offboarding, background check submissions and communications with new hires. The HR Intern will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth running of our onboarding program. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with various HR related activities.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Update company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details
  • HR documents; helping to maintain HRIS system
  • Assist with tracking, onboarding and offboarding
  • Assisting with background checks
  • Assisting with communication of new hires and rehires (seasonal employment)

  • Strong organizational skills and adept at multitasking
  • Detail oriented
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and software applications
  • Embraces a culture of collaboration and teamwork
  • Understands and demonstrates ethical behavior and practices
  • Prefer HR or Business related major or study
