<div> Position OverviewThese roles involve teaching 3rd-5th grade students on <ul> <li>Sundays and from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM or 12 PM to 2 PM</li> <li>Sundays AND either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM </li> </ul>Candidate ProfileThe organization seeks teachers who possess a genuine passion for Jewish education.Qualifications<ul> <li> Presence: A warm, kind, and enthusiastic demeanor with the ability to connect with children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.</li> <li> Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with a curriculum that encompasses Hebrew decoding, tefillah, Torah study, Jewish holidays, values, and customs.</li> <li> Teaching Methods: Ability to engage children through stories, art projects, games, movement, and conversation.</li> <li> Experience: Previous experience in day camps or classrooms is advantageous. Fluency in Hebrew is also a plus.</li> </ul>Session StructureEach session will include a 10-minute snack break and 20 minutes of music facilitated by a music teacher, and a 20-minute Tefillah class once a week. A teen assistant will be available to support the teacher and the classroom. </div>
