About Isaac M. Wise Temple
Wise Temple is a vibrant and inclusive Reform Jewish congregation located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

lifelong learning, and meaningful community engagement. Through dynamic programming,
dedicated clergy, and strong lay leadership, we seek to create a welcoming environment where
individuals and families can connect deeply with Jewish tradition and with one another.
Hours
• Sunday mornings during the academic year
• Faculty hours: 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Classes: 9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
• Teachers must arrive prepared and ready to welcome students by 9:00 a.m.
• Attendance at required faculty orientation, safety training, faculty meetings, and grade-level
meetings is expected.
Responsibilities
• Plan and facilitate engaging Sunday morning learning experiences for assigned grade levels.
• Create a suppor!ve classroom environment that promotes crea!vity, curiosity, and respect.
• Review and prepare weekly lesson plans and submit modifica!ons as required.
• Submit lesson plans, supply requests, and copy requests by established deadlines.
• Take accurate a”endance and maintain student records.
• Communicate weekly class summaries to families.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor to students and Madrichim (teen teaching
assistants).
• Patriciate in faculty meetings, trainings, safety drills, and professional development
activities.
• Maintain effective communication with the Director of Education, Kehillah administration,
students, and families.
• Support program-wide events and enrichment opportunities as needed.

• Strong Jewish background with a demonstrated commitment to Jewish life and
community engagement
• Outgoing, relationship-oriented individual who enjoys connecting with people of all

Position Requirements

• Passion for Jewish education and youth engagement.
• Ability to create meaningful, student-centered learning experiences.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful community.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and teen leaders.
• Previous teaching, youth work, or Jewish educational experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required background screening.
Reports To: Director of Education
Employment Status: Part-Time, Academic Year Position
Salary range based on experience ($60 –$70/Sunday). Paid monthly.
