Position Description

Valley Temple is looking for a dependable individual to help maintain our facility.

Who you are:

• High school graduate or G. E. D. equivalent
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors occasionally
• Willing to complete a background check if offered the position
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Have good problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret written directions
• Preferably handy

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with the Administrator and clergy to make sure the building is well cared for and runs smoothly
• Keep the facility looking clean and well-kept for our congregants, staff, and visitors
• Recurring tasks include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash and recycling collection and disposal, disinfecting surfaces
• Make minor repairs to the building when needed
• Set up for and clean up after events
