Reporting to [the Director of Senior Programming, AIP, JSSA], the Mobility Services Manager will oversee the implementation of agency, community, contract, and grant-funded programs that support DC metro area community residents. These will include Brenner escorted driving services and the Escorted Transportation Program, Meals on Wheels, Connect-A-Ride, and the VillageRides program. May directly manage day-to-day operations of one of these programs. Will provide oversight and coordination of all programs and work to integrate and promote these programs into JSSA and the community. Essential Functions: Management/Supervision: Manages the workflows of all mobility management staffConvenes and facilitates regular team meetings.Establishes staff productivity goals and manages staff to meet or exceed these goals.Communicates with Director regularly regarding supervisee assignments, availability, productivity, and quality of work.Ensures supervisees’ professional growth and development and encourages staff to identify areas of practice for professional development.Promotes maximum use of internal Agency services and community resources.Ensures there is coverage when needed to accommodate staff PTO schedules by making sure there is sufficient redundancy in staff training. Grants/Contract Management: Oversees operations and reporting for existing escorted, volunteer, MOW, and transportation information services.Establishes programmatic outcome measures and works with Director to implement methods of tracking and analyzing outcomes. Utilizes database to track activities for grant and contract reporting.Oversees completion of and submits to Director monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual reports as required by funding sources. Oversees grant implementation, budget tracking and evaluation report writing and grant/contract prospective budgeting. Tracks the program budgets to prevent surplus and deficit.Oversees the integration of Brenner and Escorted, as well as opportunities for other synergies across JSSA related to transportation. Ensures program compliance by directing the timely preparation and submission of comprehensive quarterly and annual reports for grantors. Creates innovative approaches to address gaps in service and meet partners’ needs. Prepares reporting as required by grantors and JCA/JSSA. Submits detailed invoices to the JCA/JSSA Accounting Department. Performs other duties as assigned. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the Agency’s policies and applicable laws: Appraises performance, rewards and corrects employees using agency disciplinary policies as needed.Addresses employee complaints and resolves problems.Consults with Director on personnel matters and implementation of staff development programs. Program/Business Development: Identifies and develops opportunities for new program offerings and expansion/growth of existing programs and services consistent with Department’s strategic plan. Collaborates with Agency development/grants department in identifying and tapping into new local, county, state, federal and foundation funding opportunities. Provides community education through presentations made to a variety of consumers. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of seven years of nonprofit or government experience in providing or coordinating services related to aging/older adults and/or persons with disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team of diverse staff, volunteers, and clients. Experience working with diverse populations.Strong oral and written communication, customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and delegate assignments, decision making ability, and ability to work under pressure.Strong prioritization and time-management skills. Accurate, detailed record keeping.Highly organized and able to multi-task and be flexible.Knowledge of or ability to learn and train others on database management and ride scheduling software.Proficient with MS Office and webinar software; ability to learn hardware and software. Information & Referral (I&R) experience and knowledge of aging services strongly preferred. Salary 60-70K
