JSSA’s Aging In Place department has an opening for a full-time Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-C) who will carry a client caseload, play an integral role in the maintenance and expansion of our care management programs, be responsible for reporting care management program statistics and budgets, and supervise care management staff.

Core Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing overall staff productivity, care management and program activities.
• Providing staff supervision, support and guidance to a team of care managers.
• Responsible for assisting Department Director in the development of monthly and quarterly reports.
• Identifying and developing opportunities for new program offerings and expansion/growth of existing ones consistent with Department’s strategic plan.
• Collaborating with Agency development/grants department in identifying and tapping into new local, county, state, federal and foundation funding opportunities.
• Providing community education through presentations made to a variety of consumers.
• Coordinating personnel activities including employment of staff, regular staff supervision, and probationary and yearly evaluations.

Education and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in social work from an accredited college or university required.
• LCSW in Maryland required.
• A minimum of five years field-based care management and 2 years of staff supervisory experience.
• Experience serving the elderly or other marginalized population.
• Strong oral and written communication, customer service, time management, and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and delegate assignments, decision making ability, and ability to work under pressure.
