Our mission is to empower individuals and families to achieve well-being across their lifespan. JSSA has an immediate opening for a full-time Front Desk Associate to join our team. Work hours include 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and clients in a warm, friendly, and courteous manner as soon as they enter the building
  • Participates in call center operation and includes screening and forwarding calls, responding to general inquiries via website chat
  • Monitor access to the building and ensure Agency safety and security
  • Oversee Visitor Management System to include attestation process and thermometry
  • Review internal public calendars for conference room and workstation availability for employees
  • Provide up to date information on Agency’s services, programs, and staff
  • Collects insurance co-pays from clients as needed
  • Receive and complete a basic sort and log of daily mail and sign for deliveries when necessary, notifying recipients immediately
  • Ensure that lobby/reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Arrange for reception station to be staffed 100% of the time
  • General administrative tasks to support our programs and events. Duties include data entry, minor troubleshooting of office equipment and other assigned tasks

Position Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative and/or similar office experience required
  • Proficient with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn new technology with ease
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task, demonstrate initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution-oriented with a collaborative approach to customer service
  • Willingness to provide coverage for occasional evenings (through 9:00pm) and floater coverage preferred
