Position Overview

Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), the fastest-growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish world, is seeking a Spanish Language Video Editor for a new Spanish-language news and interview show.

This is a freelance, part-time position focused on editing high-quality digital news and interview content for YouTube and social media platforms. The ideal candidate is fast, detail-oriented, editorially aware, and experienced in creating engaging video content.

Schedule

The position consists of 2 editing shifts per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Editing full podcast/interview episodes
• Creating clean and engaging cuts for digital audiences
• Integrating graphics, music, subtitles, and B-roll when needed
• Collaborating with producers and hosts on editorial direction
• Preparing final exports for publishing

Requirements

• Native or fluent Spanish
• Experience editing video content for YouTube, podcasts, or digital media
• Strong storytelling and pacing instincts
• Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)
• Ability to work under deadlines and follow editorial guidelines
• Based in Israel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with news or current affairs content
• Basic motion graphics knowledge
• Hebrew and/or English proficiency
