About the Jewish Fertility Foundation
The Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the Jewish community experiencing infertility. JFF provides financial assistance, emotional support, and educational resources to help those on their family-building journeys access high-quality fertility care. Through a combination of grants, interest-free loans, support groups, community programming, and professional partnerships, JFF ensures that no one has to navigate infertility alone.
Position Overview
This position is designed to be scalable and replicable across multiple regions. As JFF expands nationally, Program Managers may be assigned oversight of additional satellite locations and will be expected to travel to their locations as needed (estimated at least once per year per location).
We’re looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and passionate individual who believes in our mission and is eager to make a difference in our communities. In this role, you’ll work on a dynamic and collaborative team that values high standards of excellence and accountability, while embracing a flexible work schedule. We are committed to fostering an environment that supports personal and professional growth, ensuring that everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute meaningfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support
-
Managing emotional support offerings through collaboration with local and national mental health providers, including community-based support groups (virtual or in-person) and our Fertility Buddies program.
-
Support prospective and current fertility grant recipients by managing communications, addressing inquiries, and ensuring applicants are informed of their grant progress and outcomes.
-
Engage with community members in both local and satellite locations to ensure their needs are met.
Educational Awareness and Training
- Develop educational programs for your region, including fertility clinic training sessions and clergy trainings to better support your clients. Partner with the National JFF Program Manager to involve your communities in national educational programming.
Community Awareness
-
Community Events: Plan and execute events each year in collaboration with the Program Directors, such as fertility education, Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, and infertility meetups.
-
Community Liaison: Represent JFF at events in your region, working closely with community volunteers and partner organizations.
-
Development: Partner with the Development team to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current local donors and community partners throughout the year. Play an active role in JFF’s annual 36-hour crowdfunding campaign by engaging your regional network, sharing campaign messaging, and encouraging community support.
-
Social Media: Engage with local Facebook groups and other community-based platforms to promote JFF events and initiatives within your region. Share JFF updates, events, and news across relevant social channels, and provide content (such as photos and short descriptions) to JFF headquarters for broader social media use.
-
Marketing: Create and send email invites for local programming and support groups, as well as pre- and post-event press releases to garner media attention.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of your clients, including grant recipients and attendees at support groups and events.
Administrative Tasks & Special Projects
- Support the Development Director with grant applications and assist in executing special projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
-
Empathy: We seek someone mature, sensitive, and empathetic towards the infertility community.
