The Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the Jewish community experiencing infertility. JFF provides financial assistance, emotional support, and educational resources to help those on their family-building journeys access high-quality fertility care. Through a combination of grants, interest-free loans, support groups, community programming, and professional partnerships, JFF ensures that no one has to navigate infertility alone.

Position Overview
The Western Region Development Manager plays a key role in advancing JFF’s mission by cultivating donor relationships, expanding community engagement, and executing fundraising initiatives across multiple markets. This position is responsible for building and stewarding a robust donor pipeline, executing regional events, and strengthening JFF’s presence within local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors and prospective donors in your region.
- Support and execute parlor meetings, including planning, logistics, on-site coordination, and managing online RSVPs in your region.
- Organize, lead and implement JFF’s crowdfunding campaign annually in partnership with the development team.
- Represent JFF at community events in your region while partnering with the Development Director by strengthening brand awareness and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Implement and grow the Grandparent Giving Circle (Legacy of Love), engaging grandparents in supporting JFF’s mission and impact in partnership with the Eastern Region Development Manager.
- Biennial National Fundraising Event - support the planning and implementation of the event in partnership with the Development Team.
- Strengthen and expand fundraising initiatives, both organization-wide and community-specific, to drive donor engagement and revenue growth.
- Enhance development strategies in collaboration with the Development Director, focusing on donor stewardship and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure data is accurately entered in CRM, and that we are moving donors through the development pipeline.
Community - Donor Cultivation
- Work directly with Regional Managers and volunteers to identify new donor prospects and local fundraising opportunities.
- Solicit donors for gifts as small as $18 and as large as $100K+. Each member of the development team will build their own relationships and work with the Director of Development to identify which major donors belong to each staff member.
- CRM (Bloomerang) Management – Train Regional Managers on how to track and ensure the tracking of all local-level donor interactions/relationships.
Leadership
- Manage annual fundraising calendar and coordination of all fundraising activities.
- Travel annually (minimum) to each location for in-person meetings and events, and partner with the Development Director to meet with donors and prospects to strengthen relationships and drive donor growth.
- Represent JFF at community events to enhance JFF’s visibility.
- Passionately promote the vision/mission of the organization, inspiring others to provide financial and other support.
- Actively engage and energize JFF’s volunteers, staff, event committees, partnering organizations, and funders.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Development or related roles.
- Empathy and Energy: We are looking for someone who is mature, sensitive, and empathetic toward the infertility community. This individual should also be a self-starter who is energetic and enthusiastic about scaling our organization. This person must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and must be willing and able to take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills: He/she must have a passion for community organizing and building, and must be a skilled project manager with attention to detail who can effectively manage multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal skills: Effective at communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, doctors, therapists, and donors.
- Proficient in technology: has the ability to learn and manage our Database (Bloomerang), work with a Google platform and Zoom, and interface with digital fundraising.
- Minimum of 2 years of development experience in a non-profit role.
- Flexibility with work schedule; this position does require occasional evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
