Job Title: Licensed Clinical Therapist (Part-Time)

Department: Social Services – Clinical

Reports To: Director of Client Services

Location: Hybrid - In-person and Telehealth

Hours: 15+ hours per week

Effective Date: 11/1/2025

Job Summary

Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley is seeking a Clinical Therapist to join our collaborative team. This part-time position (15+ hours per week) includes providing clinical supervision to agency staff, direct client counseling, and active participation in clinical operations. Services are delivered both in-person and through Telehealth, depending on client needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families while contributing to the growth of our mental health program. This position has potential for growth as caseload and agency needs increase.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Services

  • Maintain an active caseload of approximately 8-10 individuals per week with adjustments when facilitating support groups
  • Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health counseling to individuals, families and groups
  • Support and cofacilitate psycho-educational seminars and support groups as needed

Supervision and Team Collaboration

  • Provide weekly supervision of agency’s LCSW-level clinical therapist
  • Participate in clinical staff team meetings, staff meetings, and billing management meetings
  • Attend quarterly clinical committee meeting with affiliated community clinicians to share knowledge and strengthen collaborative care

Documentation and Compliance

  • Coordinate clinical intake process and validate client insurance coverage with insurance companies
  • Ensure timely completion of progress notes, and maintain up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with agency, insurance and ethical guidelines
  • Enter billing information in billing platform
  • Maintain current licensure requirements and complete necessary continuing education units (CEUs)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Flexibility with delivery of services in-person and on Telehealth
  • Ability to serve clients across various treatment platforms
  • Experience and interest in working with children and families
  • Demonstrates cultural competency
  • Abide by the NASW or APA Code of Ethics
  • Ethics: Treats people with respect and maintains confidentiality; dependable; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values

Education and Experience

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or PhD Licensed Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Five plus years post LCSW or Psychology license
  • Minimum of four years supervisory experience
  • While not required, special certifications are welcomed
